Movies & Motion Design

Hello, these are a collection of self initiated projects I have made over the last few years.

Movie and motion design work which has always been a passion of mine, something I enjoy doing. The thinking, creating, making, crafting, writing, moving image making, graphic designing, animating, imagery, art, photography, filming, content creation, movement, story, narrative, treatments, ideas, music and poetry.

These are a few projects I have enjoyed making and will continue to make in my hap hazard point and shoot, lo fi, learning on the project way. I like the process of limited resource, lo fi technology, and limited experience. Making things work with a scrappy idea or a happy mistake to make something new. These are not flashy polished movies or motion designs, but projects from the heart, visual experiments I've made for me and my family. They are our stories and our journeys we have been on, our adventures I have enjoyed documenting.

I have a backlog of short movie ideas and motion designs from our adventures which will continually be added to this page. These are great exercises for me to continue my digital journey in movie and motion design creation, project by project learning something new on each one. I am the client, I create for me, I create based on my influences, my likes, my choices, things that inspire me from art, design, photography, films, TV, books, documentaries, stories, history and events.

Most of the full length family movies I have created can be seen on my YouTube channel but they are family orientated and based on the final outcome, our children growing up and my need to document their early lives so they have these visual memories forever to view, enjoy and share as they grow older as teenagers, young adults and finally fully grown adults.
