StoneX - GAIN Capital

Previously a Senior Visual/UI Designer at GAIN Capital StoneX supporting the City Index and FOREX global trading brands, working within the global Customer Experience, UX, Design, Marketing and Product teams.

My responsibilities at GAIN Capital StoneX were to ensure that all brand visual design content across all product marketing channels such as websites, mobile trading apps, campaigns, social media, email, digital printed media, is consistent, compliant and met the objectives of the Brand, Acquisition, Customer Experience  and the Product teams.

In September of 2019 we launched the new FOREX.com mobile trading app, a year long project. I was part of the Platforms UX and Design team, collaborating closely with my UX colleagues, project managers, stakeholders and the development team. I led the visual design and UI language of the new mobile application. Establishing the new UI pattern and component library and aligning the product with the Forex brand.

Lead Visual/UI designer for the FOREX.com website design refresh project. We created a new brand experience for FOREX.com in-house and slowly started to roll out the new visual design alongside our new UX and content strategy. We used a CSM called Sitecore who are worked closely with us to develop the new site. I was responsible for the management of a small visual design team working on multiple tasks on the project delivering mobile and desktop responsive page designs, a new UI pattern and component library, icon suite and supporting CSM template driven marketing modules.

GAIN Capital is a US-based provider of online trading services. The company provides market access and trade execution services in foreign exchange, contracts for difference and exchange-based products to retail investors. GAIN Capital provides the tools the customer needs to offer trading in forex, CFDs, spread betting, exchanged traded futures and more.
